We founded Midcoast Music Academy because we are passionate about music education. We believe music inspires community and learning, because we know music inspires us.

We currently offer private, individualized instruction and group lessons in acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukulele, world percussion, drum set, violin and fiddle, strings, voice and more! If you're interested in an instrument that we don't yet offer, contact us anyway -- we have a network of instructors available and would love to hear from you about the kind of music you want in your life.

We also offer a number of seminars, labs, workshops and music enrichment programs for area schools and businesses. Courses range from large African drumming ensembles to seminars on Indian rhythmic systems to blues and finger-picking guitar labs. We are committed to helping students of all ages and skill levels unlock their creative potential and express themselves through music.
