Ever dreamed of writing your own songs? Here is your chance! Throughout this semester-long class, students will explore lyric writing, theory, songwriting history, different styles of writing, and work to find and refine their voice. Each week new topics will be discussed and explored, old topics will be reviewed and expanded on, and students will get instructor and peer feedback. By the end of the semester, students will write and compose several songs and have a chance to perform them in front of a live audience!
