Midcoast Music Academy provides accessible, excellent music education to students of all ages and skill levels. Additionally, we contribute to the economic development of Rockland by attracting and retaining a teaching-artist team of the highest caliber. Our faculty are not only professional musicians, they are passionate and seasoned educators.

Midcoast Music Academy raises approximately 70% of our operating costs through tuition and program revenue, and we rely on our donors, foundations, and business sponsors to help us cover the gap, keep both our tuition and faculty compensation rates competitive, and maintain our scholarship program. Please consider making either a one-time or recurring donation to support music education in Midcoast Maine.

Your support — in any amount — is valued and appreciated!

My favorite time of the week is going to my lessons, because they help me grow. I’m especially proud to have the mentors I have.

When I’m at the academy, I don’t believe I have limits. When you’re dedicated to something and you’re happy, you do your best. Having such inspiring people around encouraging you to do your best and helping you to achieve your goals makes achieving them so much easier and much more fun.

Since going to the academy I’ve become more confident not only on stage but in everyday life. I’m so proud to be able to say ‘I am a part of that school.’ My plans after high school are to be a performing artist, and I intend to give back to the school and help them help others.
