Music Exploration
Music Exploration classes are a fun, easy way to learn musical terms and concepts. Your child will soon be speaking the language of music with confidence. We start our journey with an introduction to age-appropriate instruments, a chance to explore favorite songs through musical play, and a goodbye theme. Each class will maintain a sense of continuity throughout the session, with themed discussions, starting each class with a review of what we learned the week before. The instructor will create lessons based on student interests and passions. Classes end with a farewell song to wrap up the day’s musical adventure.. The instructor will use your child's favorite songs to learn about one or more of the following ideas:
Rhythmic Rocking: Get ready to discover the beat, unlock rhythmic mysteries, and explore the magic of music's pulse.
Pitch Playtime: Through playful activities and catchy tunes, we'll focus on recognizing and enjoying different pitches and melodies.
Harmony and Friends: Music helps us learn to collaborate with others. Learning how to make beautiful music in harmony with your fellow explorers is one of the most important parts of the class.
Meet the Instruments: From strings to brass and woodwinds, you'll explore the unique challenges and joys each instrument brings.
