Jazz Intensive

Age/Experience: Rising 5th graders and above. Students should be familiar with basic music notation.
This exciting jazz program offers young instrumentalists the chance to dive deep into all things jazz. Led by our talented instructors, students will explore the history of the genre and how it influenced the music scene as we know it. This is a perfect program for students who are in a school jazz band and want to take their playing to the next level as well as for those who would love to play jazz but have been nervous to give it a try. Students will listen, play, improvise, create and record in a supportive, fun setting.
