Chris Pert

Maine native Chris Pert is a graduate of The University of Maine at Augusta (B.M. performance) where he studied with Maine jazz greats Don Stratton and Steve Grover. For the past 15 years, he has worked as an educator and musician throughout New England.

Though jazz and trumpet are his primary focus, Chris also plays trombone and euphonium and has played nearly every style of music imaginable. Considering himself equal parts trumpet player, improviser, composer, and educator, Chris is ready to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with students of all ages and abilities in the Midcoast area.

Chris currently resides in Nobleboro with his wife and two daughters. In addition to music, he is an avid rock climber and runner.
