Locations:

• Camps will be held at our studios at 821 Commercial Street, Rockport, ME 04856.

• Blues Intensive will perform at the North Atlantic Blues Festival on Sunday, July 14th.

• Gig Camp will perform at the Maine Lobster Festival on Wednesday, July 31st after the coronation (approximately 8:00pm). Additional shows will be decided and arranged by the group during the week.

Approximate Schedule:

Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

The days will be approximately organized as following:

• Morning Session: Direct instructional time, guest speakers, theory, improv/music games, group conversations, topics review, listening and writing sessions.

• Lunch: To be held outside every day if weather permits. We love to take advantage of the nearby Wellness Trail, so bug spray and walking shoes are recommended. Students should bring a packed lunch and water bottle (we have a fridge). We will provide snacks each day, and a pizza party for Friday’s lunch.

• Afternoon Session: Playing time, breakout sessions and rehearsals!

All camps will have a minimum of two faculty members and specialty guest teachers to ensure students have instrument-specific instruction as needed.
